Anita's funeral was on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Russellville, with the Rev. Phillip Washington officiating. She received Eastern Star Rites on Tuesday September 8 at the church. She was buried at Greenwood Cemetery in Russellville.

Anita English was born on November 7, 1940 to the late Jerry and Fannie Mae Todd English in Logan County. She was a Deputy Jailer for Logan County and a member of the Bread of Life Ministries. She was an Eastern Star member, a member of the Red Hat Society and a member of the American Legion. She received the Commonwealth of Kentucky Jailer's Award. Anita Bellamy passed away on September 4, 2015 at her home.

She is survived by daughters: Rita (Michael) Jackson, twins Sherri B. (Minister James) Harris and Terri B. (Rev. Floyd) Coleman. She had a son Hushel "Benard" (June) Bellamy III, a brother Felix (Tracey) Gilbert, four sisters: Jearlene (James "Pie" Smith), Mary English, Bonita Ann (James) Collins and Faye Gilbert Kees. She had 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Hushel Bellamy Jr. and a grandson Sergeant Jatarius Osborne.
